Jo Curry takes the award for most improved 13.1 time. Setting a new PR of 2:01:00, Jo took off 20 minutes and 37 seconds from her most recent 1/2 Marathon, way to go!

Eric Godin and Wayne Thumm also saw new PR's in these tough conditions. Eric finished 7th overall winning the M25-29 age group with a time of 1:25:51. Wayne Thumm knocked off over 2.5 minutes placing 4th in the M35-39 age group with a time of 1:42:45.

Brian Bazinet, Karen Munoz, Bryan Desloge, and Laura Register all had great races and enjoyed the day.

Team Member Bob Keller continues to push forward in his goal of finishing 1000 races, despite his aches and pains along the way. Bob you are a true inspiration and real reason so many participate in endurance sports!

Marathon Review

Congratulations to first time finisher, Nathan Rhodes. Nathan finished the Tallahassee Marathon in a time of 4:06:20. What you may not know is that Nathan had only been cleared to exercise in late October from a serious bike crash that happened over the summer of 2011. Congratulations Nathan and welcome to the 26.2 mile club!

Charlie Johnson had the fastest 26.2 mile time for local athletes. His time of 2:45:10 brought him across the tape in 7th overall. Congratulations Charlie on your 5th place Male Open Division! You are a true inspiration to all of us. Your hard work and dedication shows in your performances.

I had the best run I could have asked for. I set a new Marathon PR of 3:42:49 and won the F25-29 age group. I could not have done this without the support from everyone on the course. The volunteers were awesome, the support from friends and family was terrific and seeing everyone at the finish line cheering put the icing on the cake!

Again, congratulations to everyone who finished the 13.1 and 26.2.
